Frequently Asked Questions

Here are a few questions I get and I hope it helps answer your questions and learn more about me.

As a mom, I’ve come to realize the incredible importance of growing our own food. Not only does it allow us to cultivate a deeper connection to nature but it also gives us the power to control what goes into our bodies. You see, so much of the pre-packaged food lining the grocery store shelves is filled with preservatives and chemicals that can harm us in the long run. By growing our own fruits, vegetables, and herbs, we can ensure that our family’s meals are free from harmful additives and pesticides. Plus, food from scratch and/or straight from the garden tastes so much better! So, let’s roll up our sleeves, get our hands dirty, and reap the rewards of homegrown goodness together!

I know it might seem like you don’t have time to make food from scratch everyday for you and your family, but with a bit of planning and organization, it’s totally achievable – even in the busiest of schedules! I have a few tricks that really help me: make a menu for the week and I also prep as much as I can on Sunday. Contrary to popular belief, cooking with whole food ingredients doesn’t necessarily mean spending hours slaving away in the kitchen. In fact, many nutritious meals can be prepared in just 30 to 40 minutes, just like their processed counterparts. Follow along and let me show you how.

Yes! My kids have been homeschooled their whole lives. It’s been so rewarding watching them learn and grow. We believe strongly in balancing nature & homesteading skills with technology and skills for the future. We want our kids to be well rounded and have the best of nature and technology. I want my kids to be able to code and grow a garden.

I would love for this blog to teach people who to grow their own food and become healthier. I know that gardens can produce surplus which can be given to neighbors and people in the community. Growing your own food helps grow a community.

Someday, I would like to own a bigger piece of land to grow my garden and homestead. I would love to start a community garden so everybody had access to fresh grown food. The world is hard and working together as a community you make it better for everybody!
